California's Other Half

I have a bit of SoCal pride, but I have to give props to the wonderful city of San Francisco. Wow! This past week I drove up the 5 to visit a wonderful friend and see the sites of the bay. While it rained in LA I had clear days, breathtaking views, and perfect weather for exploring the city on foot. After one of the best deep dish pizzas I've ever eaten (thanks Jenny!) and a good night's rest my whirlwind tour began. I only had three days, but I hit the big stuff: Alcatraz, Lombard Street, China Town, Fisherman's Wharf, Legion of Honor (not a Superhero club, bummer!), walked across the Golden Gate Bridge, Palace of Fine Arts, Fort Mason, Ghirardelli Square, and many other little sites along the way.
It was great to walk, but my Uncle Phil was sure I rode almost all of SF's transportation options: car, bus, cable car, street car, and of course the BArt. I want to go back soon, but travel is a luxury and now its time to get ready for Christmas!

Welcome!

Wow, I started a blog! Thats fantastic! I don't really have much to say right now. I will update with my thoughts on ministry, life, my awesome catchphrases, travel, ridiculous links to websites I discovered while wasting time on the web that will make you wonder, "Does he have a job? Shouldn't he be doing something worthwhile? What a waste! Why am I reading this? Augh! I'm late for my meeting! PHILLL!!!!", maybe prayers, scripture, or the typical minutia you find on blogs. (I had to look up how to spell minutia, so maybe I won't post that stuff.)
peace.
